John Brancy is a Grammy Award-winning baritone and Juilliard graduate whose "mesmerizing tone" (OperaWire) and commanding presence have established him as one of the most compelling performers of his generation. "It's hard not to be impressed by the beauty of his voice."

This season he returns to Opéra de Montréal as Don Giovanni, makes his house debut at Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, debuts as Il Conte Almaviva at Opéra national du Rhin, and joins Sir Simon Rattle and the Bayerische Rundfunk for Carmina Burana — among the world's most prestigious concert halls and opera houses.
